The Head of Debt Capital Markets in a major UK bank needed to see a step change in the client skills of their originators and product specialists.
Training a team of 300+ people from many different nationalities and cultures to be able to structure and deliver complex client presentations and pitches in a uniform and consistent style is a tough ask - but having worked with this client for over 5 years, we can say that we know how to achieve it.
Our Clarity, Brevity and Impact programme was tailor made for this type of task - two half day sessions, spread apart by 1-2 weeks, which delivered an intensive, video based upskilling for all levels and grades of people who are involved in speaking to corporate and FI clients.
The CBI programme focuses on getting people to speak with confidence and authority, structure messages with clear focus and precision, and to produce simple, high quality material in order to deliver a compelling case to any potential client.
The management of the programme is something we took on - simple scheduling of sessions, the flexibility to mix groups of specialists and yet still make sure that the training is role-specific, with realistic case studies and simulated client meetings - it is no wonder the feedback from this programme is often that it is most relevant and effective training they have ever received.
